ARC Centre of Excellence for Functional Nanomaterials

The ARC Centre of Excellence for Functional Nanomaterials was established in November 2003 and has earned a reputation as a world class centre for research in nanomaterials. ARC Centre research programs focus on novel synthesis, characterisation and applications of functional nanomaterials and its headquarters are based at The University of Queensland in Brisbane with nodes based in New South Wales (NSW) and the Australian Capital Territory (ACT). The NSW/ACT Node Director is Prof. Rose Amal, who will Chair IPS17, and is based at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in Sydney.
